With their new central reporting platform DATEV is able to combine state of the art treasury reports with a reliable and transparent cash flow forecast. We found a smart way for the software company to streamline their system landscape and find a more efficient and secure way to manage their treasury processes. TIP acts as connecting link between different SAP systems and therefore enables easy and readily available access to all relevant treasury data. Manual data input is reduced to the maximum and juggling data between different systems has come to an end. Learn more in our new case study.
It was not our first time in Copenhagen but it was the first event with guests from the Danish treasury scene. Our special thanks go to Thomas Linnert from Deutsche Lufthansa AG who supported us with his presentation. The audience had the opportunity to learn about the treasury processes of the biggest airline group in Europe and about TIP at the same time. Furthermore we like to thank our host infiniance who found the perfect location with the Copenhagen stock exchange. The business brunch lasted from 8:30 am to 11:30 am – three hours filled with interesting speeches and conversations. We enjoyed our time very much and would have liked to stay longer in the Danish capital. Thank you and until next time!
You’re involved with treasury topics in your organisation daily. You know how important it is to have a handle on your data. However, do you have the right tools and processes in place in order to keep your activities streamlined while also being able to report on the key information? Are you reaching maximum efficiency and accuracy within your department – or is there a better way forward?
Join TIPCO and TIS in this live session to get up to speed with current trends in corporate payments and reporting processes and tools. You will learn how to:
Since 2009 the Vorwerk Group uses the Treasury Information Platform TIP including the modules financial status, planning and reporting. Stock positions and prices are transferred via interfaces to the hosting environment located on TIPCO servers. As of July 2016 Vorwerk wants to monitor the risk management in TIP as well. With our “TIP Risk-Suite” overall risk ratios and hedging quotes can be simulated and analysed easily. This way Vorwerk’s treasury department saves time-consuming calculations in Excel or the cost-intensive alternative of a TMS installation. In the course of the TIP Risk-Suite implementation the derivative module and an interface for market data will be set up. This means that TIP has a fully automated access to all data necessary for the cash flow at risk calculation. The project has already commenced and is planned to be completed in 6 weeks. We thank our long-standing client Vorwerk for the trust placed in us and are looking forward to the joint project.
The international service company and trading group BayWa relies on the Treasury Information Platform TIP. TIP reports are not only flexible, comprehensive and consistent but also easy to build. While many companies prefer a ready-to-go-solution, BayWa likes to create bespoke reports with internal resources to safeguard future flexibility. We will structure a workshop to equip the treasury team with the skills for creating top-level reports. In the course of intensive training sessions we also work on building new and enhancing existing reports. This will enable BayWa to change reports without outside assistance as required. We are looking forward to the project and thank BayWa for the trust placed in us.
The next event in UK is just around the corner! We are going to support the first Treasury Innovation Forum in London. The London event is presented by GTNews and will be the first in a series of regionally focused events, providing senior treasury and finance professionals with access to in-depth research, analysis and the opportunity to discuss key issues impacting the profession with senior level peers.
The attendance is limited to senior–level treasury and finance corporate sector professionals, including: CFOs, Group Treasurers, Treasurers and Senior Controllers.
We are looking forward to the first Treasury Innovation Forum!

TIPCO will take part in the ACT Annual Conference for the first time this year. The award-winning event is the biggest treasury fair in the UK and known for its good programme and large amount of corporates attending the conference.
‘Financing tomorrow’ explores how digital advancements and global disruptions are shaping the future. From risk and security to supply chain and relationships, the landscape is swiftly changing and new roadmaps must be forged. Digital innovations, EU upheavals, new banking regulations, capital structuring and cyber security are all strategic pressure points for the real economy.
We are excited about the programme and are looking forward to the exchange with the attending exhibitors and corporates.
Main topics in 2016 are:
Five new faces are now part of our team! Our colleagues are especially happy to welcome three women in the staff: Verena Romberg (right) commutes between Frankfurt and Vienna and enriches the team with her experience from company perspective, she starts as a Senior Consultant. Sabine Becker (2. from right) is our new expert for report preparation, her as well is a Senior Consultant. Andrea Weiss (2. from left) is the new center of our support team, she takes care of all customer inquiries and has her focus on their rapid processing. Alban Nguyen (left) comes originally from France and will be in the comfortable position to visit his home country quite often as his main responsibility is to supervise our market expansion in France. With the first of April also Georg Pitsch (Mitte) has come on board, he supports our SAP Hana team.
We have the best feedback after attending our first fair in UK: Good conversations, exciting new contacts and even the opportunity to get in contact with some of our regular clients – we enjoyed a great time in London! The only small downer was the british weather! Due to bad conditions our exhibition stand was not able to enter its flight. Necessity is the mother of invention and so we took it with good humor and made our little misfortune an attraction for the first day.
